December 5, 2016 – NEW YORK, NY – Persado, the leading cognitive content generation platform, has been selected as one of the most exciting startups in New York by The Hundert, a Berlin-based magazine that spotlights startups around the world.
The 100 startups featured in the “Startups of New York” issue were selected by an expert panel of judges, consisting of investors, established entrepreneurs, media representatives and other New York-insiders. Among the 40 judges are Arianna Huffington (Founder, The Huffington Post), Ben Lerer (Managing Partner, Lerer Hippeau Ventures), Philippe von Borries (Co-Founder and CEO, Refinery29), Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg (Chairman, Spitzberg Partners) and Henry Blodget (Co-Founder and CEO, Business Insider).
Persado was recognized for its groundbreaking cognitive computing platform that uses narrow AI to scale, elevate and ultimately transform content creation. The platform uses advanced statistical algorithms and neural networks to analyze and understand human behavior, then predict what language and emotions compel a person to act. Fortune 500 brands like American Express, Citi, Staples, Microsoft, and Verizon have used Persado to achieve 49.5% average uplifts in conversions across marketing campaigns. Overall, the platform has generated more than one billion dollars in incremental revenue for its customers.
“It’s an honor to be chosen by The Hundert as one of the top 100 startups out of the 10,000 in New York City,” said Alex Vratskides, Co-Founder and CEO, Persado. “This marks the third time this year we’ve been recognized for our success as innovators from the area, after the Inc. 500 and Crain’s New York Fast 50, and we look forward to even brighter days ahead for our powerhouse community of trailblazers and entrepreneurs.”
