Nicolas Chammas to Join Persado from Carrick Capital
May 16, 2017 – NEW YORK – Persado, the leading provider of AI-generated cognitive content for top global brands, announced that Nicolas Chammas has join as Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Development and Partnerships. In this new role, Chammas is responsible for strategic initiatives and partnerships that further establish Persado’s leadership in artificial intelligence technology, cognitive content generation, and natural language processing. He reports to Alex Vratskides, Persado Co-Founder and CEO, and is based in San Francisco.
Mr. Chammas was most recently Vice President and member of the investment committee at Carrick Capital, where he led investments in growth-stage software and tech-enabled services businesses. Prior to joining Carrick, he served as a Vice President at DBO Partners, where he focused on M&A advisory primarily within technology. Mr. Chammas’ career as an investor and advisor to growth companies spans 15 years and includes investments in Saber Corp. (sold to EDS for $460 million), iTradeNetwork (sold to Roper Industries for $525 million), and Applied Predictive Technologies (sold to MasterCard for $600 million).
