Maria runs Persado in the UK and Spanish markets since 2017, coming from a wealth of experience in technology, where she’s spent the most part of her career and waking hours following all sorts of shiny new objects.
Maria joined Persado from Ooyala, where she built a Programmatic Advertising business from the ground up and played a leading role during the Videoplaza acquisition. Prior to that, Maria was a Strategic Partnerships Manager at Google, working with large media and brand companies across Europe to expand their advertising business, and a Senior Marketer at EE.
Despite her love for growing businesses, she is a nerd at heart, holding an MSC in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey and Superior Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Publica de Navarra.
As a mother of two young kids and a dog, free time is an elusive concept at the moment, but she also likes dancing, martial arts, Eastern philosophy and anything to do with mountains.
