As SVP, Global Corporate Development and Partnerships at Persado, Nicolas Chammas is responsible for leading strategic initiatives to accelerate Persado’s leadership in AI and cognitive content generation.
He was previously a Vice President and member of the investment committee at Carrick Capital, where he led investments in growth-stage software and tech-enabled services businesses. Prior to joining Carrick, Nicolas served as a Vice President with boutique investment bank DBO Partners, where he focused on M&A advisory primarily within technology. Before DBO, he held roles at Accel-KKR, GCA Savvian, and Credit Suisse.
Nicolas’ career as an investor and advisor to growth companies spans 15 years and includes investments in Saber Corp. (sold to EDS for $460 million), iTradeNetwork (sold to Roper Industries for $525 million), and Applied Predictive Technologies (sold to MasterCard for $600 million). He has also served as an advisor to market-revolutionizing enterprises such as Google, representing the company during its 2004 IPO, and big data software provider Cloudera, advising on its $740 million financing from Intel.
Nicolas earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his BA in Business/Economics from UCLA.
