Persado is focused on mitigating our environmental footprint through continued sustainability efforts and meaningful resource usage. Our hybrid-plus-remote working model supports Persadoans in working wherever they choose while also contributing to reducing our carbon usage and emissions. At our New York and Athens offices, we take energy and resource-efficient actions, such as:
- Using energy-saving, motion-sensored lights
- Equipping kitchens with compostable or reusable items
- Reducing catering food waste with post-event food donations
We are mindful that these practices are beneficial to protecting our planet, but there is more we can do outside of the office, as well. Persado puts a strong emphasis on offsetting carbon use and helping to preserve a clean planet. For example:
- Volunteer park cleanups – Employees local to our New York City or Athens offices come together to help clean up area parks and green spaces.
- Persado Forest program – As of October 2023, Persado is sponsoring the planting of 300 trees to fight climate change; one for every employee. The estimated CO2 offsetting power is conservatively around 150 to 380 KGs per tree.

Security and Data Measures
Persado is compliant with GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC-2, and CCPA. Every employee is required to complete annual training on security protocol through the Persado Academy. Additionally, any customer data sent to Persado is encrypted and all data is encrypted at rest. We do not train on any PII data.

Persado encourages employees to spend their time and talent engaging with the charities that mean the most to them. Through the Persado Cares program, Persado offers each employee two paid days off per year to participate in civic engagement opportunities within their communities. Our annual donation matching through BrightFunds helps to make employee giving impact even greater.
