Third-Party Data Marketing
When marketers create campaigns using data that is not directly collected by a company to personalize marketing campaigns that improve ROI metrics. Providers collect data from various platforms, apps, and websites. This information is aggregated into data sets which can be purchased or shared on data marketplaces or exchanges. Types of third-party data that marketers often use include: media selections (magazine and streaming subscriptions), household income, leisure choices (skiing, snorkeling, hiking, tennis, cycling, yoga, etc.), life events (marriage, graduation, new home), buying habits.
